DUBAI: The UAE has recorded 994 new cases of coronavirus, bringing total on infections in the country to 27,892, according to a statement by the Ministry of Health.
The new figure comes as the country implements additional testing campaigns. The statement said the health ministry has conducted over 50,000 additional tests.
The ministry also said four new people have died of the virus, taking the death toll to 241.
The recoveries in the country have reached 13,798 after 1,043 people have been cleared of COVID-19.
The ministry has called on people to cooperate with health authorities and comply with all precautionary measures to ensure safety during the pandemic.
