RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s King Salman received a phone call on Friday from Egyptian president Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to congratulate him on the upcoming Muslim holiday, Eid Al-Fitr.
Saudi Arabia announced on Friday that the last day of the holy month of Ramadan will be on Saturday, and Eid Al-Fitr will begin on Sunday.
The king also received reciprocal phone calls from Kuwaiti Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and King Abdullah II of Jordan.
King Salman said he hoped progress and prosperity would return to the Arab and Islamic nations.
