DUBAI: Kuwaiti citizens continue to pass through the Nuwaiseeb border crossing with Saudi Arabia as part of the government’s repatriation plans for nationals who want to return home amid the coronavirus epidemic.
Kuwaiti nationals have been allowed to cross the border for a second day, subject to the necessary safety and health precautions, the Ministry of Interior said in a statement reported by state news agency KUNA.
Kuwaitis who joined the land repatriation plan, which runs until May 20, are allowed to pass the Nuwaiseeb border crossing between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. and must undergo mandatory quarantine at Al-Khiran resort in Kuwait.
