RIYADH: Religious scholars affiliated with the Islamic Affairs Ministry are taking part in Furijat campaign organized in collaboration with the Interior Ministry to help people convicted of financial crimes.
The ministry is posting videos and audio clips showing scholars, preachers, and sheikhs urging people to donate for the campaign to achieve its objectives.
The initiative aims to provide Saudi citizens and residents with a simple and safe medium to donate money to people convicted in noncriminal financial cases, and eligible to benefit from governmental support programs, to help them pay their debt to society.
