  • Violators of the three-people limit will have to pay a fine of $272 (AED 1,000)

DUBAI: The Dubai Police clarified the three-people limit on travelling through a private car, saying families are not covered by the restriction, state-run WAM reported.

The exemption also extends to first-degree relatives, Brigadier Saif Mahir Al Mazrouei, Director of Dubai Police Traffic Department, said.

Violators of the three-people limit will have to pay a fine of $272 (AED 1,000).

The clarification comes as the city further eases lockdown measures, including the lifting of the 24-hour curfew and the gradual reopening of malls and other commercial areas.
