UAE plans to expand coronavirus testing to cover all citizens and residents
  • The UAE health sector said the country has carried 25,795 tests
  • The total number of coronavirus cases in the country has increased to 7,265

DUBAI: The UAE is planning to widen the scope of its continuous coronavirus testing to cover all citizens and residents across the country, an official said Monday. 

Farida Al Hosani, the official spokesperson for the UAE health sector, said the country has carried 25,795 tests and has recorded 484 new infections in the past 24 hours. 

This has raised the total number of coronavirus cases in the country to 7,265. It also announced two more death cases, increasing the health toll to 43.
