DUBAI: Abu Dhabi will open free-of-charge COVID-19 testing facilities for workers, the emirate’s media office announced on social media.
The move comes as a host of other testing initiatives across the UAE have been rolled out in the past few days, including drive-through testing centers.

The clinics are located in Abu Dhabi’s industrial area, Musaffah, and will prioritize low-income workers and those over the age of 50.
The department said the free testing will cover even “those who are in violation of the residency regulations.”
The UAE has conducted more than 700,000 tests since the outbreak began.
