Bahrain makes face masks compulsory in public, allows shops to re-open

RIYADH: Bahrain said Thursday it would allow shops that provide goods or services directly to customers to re-open if they take the necessary precautions to avoid the spread of coronavirus.
The Kingdom also made wearing face masks in public areas compulsory for citizens and residents as well as shop workers, the state Bahrain News Agency reported.
It also called on facilities that will receive customers to avoid overcrowding inside stores, and to allow for sufficient distancing between individuals. This is to be applied starting 7 p.m. local time. 
The report said the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism has made more than a million medical masks available in markets and pharmacies starting Wednesday to contribute in the fight against COVID-19.
