Dubai: Rent payments in Dubai have been postponed for up to six months, national daily Gulf News reported, citing Dubai Free Zones.
The decisions made also include facilitating financial payments, refunding multiple insurance and guarantees claims, and the cancellation of a number of penalties for both companies and individuals.
The Dubai Free Zones Council is working to help the economic system improve Dubai’s competitiveness and maintain business continuity in all sectors, including small and medium enterprises, Chairman of Dubai Airport Free Zone Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum said.
The UAE’s Ministry of Health and Prevention has confirmed 63 new cases of COVID-19, state news agency WAM reported Saturday. The new cases bring the total in the country to 468, with 55 recoveries and two deaths.
