Saudi Arabia’s health, security, and military sectors to stay operating amid temporary suspension of government work, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Monday.
The announcement came as authorities ordered government employees to stay home for 16 days in the latest measures against the spread of coronavirus.
Shopping malls and restaurants were also ordered to be closed.
Earlier, the Kingdom closed shops, coffee shops, parks and gardens. Only supermarkets, pharmacies are allowed to stay open and food deliveries are still allowed.
