DAMMAM: King Salman Energy Park (known as SPARK) and Prince Mohammad bin Fahd University (PMU) on Tuesday signed a memorandum of understanding to provide 80 high school graduates training in computers, communication skills and English language.
The training is aimed at preparing them to work in industrial security and firefighting divisions.
Dr. Omar Al-Mousa, dean of Community Service and Student Affairs at PMU, said the program has been designed as per the requirements of SPARK. He said the program will use advanced educational methods to hone the skills of the participants and to prepare them for the practical world.
Al-Mousa said the duration of the training program is one year.
The program has been designed keeping in view the requirements of major companies in the region.
