Algerian President Abdul Majeed Tabun received Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan, who is currently on an official visit to the north African country.
During the meeting in the Algerian capital Algiers, Prince Faisal conveyed the greetings of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to the president, government and people of Algeria, and Tabun reciprocated.
They also reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries and the latest regional and international developments.
Later, Prince Faisal handed over an invitation from King Salman for Tabun to visit Saudi Arabia, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
Prince Faisal also highlighted similarities between the two nations, stressing the Kingdom’s keenness to coordinate with Algeria on issues relevant to the Arab and Islamic worlds.
