RIYADH: AMC Cinemas celebrated its first loyalty program members in Saudi Arabia at an awards ceremony.
The loyalty program, AMC Da’era, attracted more than 25,000 members in its first 30 days and has awarded them more than 3.5 million points.
Cinemas were banned in the Kingdom for decades until a momentous decision in December 2017 to allow them as part of widespread reforms.
AMC King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) was the first cinema to open in Saudi Arabia.
The subscribers’ event took place at the AMC KAFD 1 Cinema, where guests enjoyed the premiere of the Academy Award-nominated movie “Jojo Rabbit” while enjoying the facilities and services available at the newly refurbished premises.
