JEDDAH: A group of Saudi engineers has completed quality control training set up by the Kingdom and Japan as part of a long-term strategic partnership between two countries.
The 29 engineers undertook the first of three training programs at the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (Modon) in Jeddah after it was organized by the Kingdom’s Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources together with the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and organizations including SME Support Japan and the Japan Cooperation Center for the Middle East.
Mohammad Bin Abdul Wahab Sharyan, director of Modon’s western sector, and Masayuki Miyamoto, Japan’s consul-general, awarded certificates to the engineers.

Saudi Arabia and Japan enjoy brotherly ties. The two countries are seeking to establish a solid strategic partnership.
