Saudi minister joins Budapest lecture on Vision 2030

BUDAPEST: Saudi Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Adel Al-Jubeir took part in a lecture titled “Saudi Foreign Policy and Vision 2030 Reforms” at the National Public Service University in Budapest, as part of an official visit to Hungary.
Al-Jubeir highlighted efforts by the Kingdom to achieve regional and international security, and its ambitious Vision 2030, which seeks to diversify the economy, decrease reliance on oil, empower women, support youth and improve the government sector’s performance.
He answered questions from audience members, including Hungarian officials, members of the diplomatic corps, researchers and university students.
The Kingdom’s Embassy in Hungary also held a reception and a photo exhibition of the Kingdom’s tourism and heritage sites, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
Earlier, Al-Jubeir met Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto and Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of Hungary Istvan Jakab.
They reviewed bilateral relations during the meeting, as well as the most prominent developments in regional and international situations of common interest.
