General Aviation Forum attracts big turnout in Riyadh

RIYADH: The fifth General Aviation Forum attracted a large turnout of visitors at the Saudi Aviation Club’s headquarters at Al-Thumamah Airport in Riyadh.
The event, which features some of the most famous aviation teams in the world, presented a dazzling flying festival for spectators to enjoy.
The event has air and ground-based shows for different kinds of aircraft. More than 60 pilots and seven teams from Italy, Britain, Sweden, Poland, Germany, Egypt, and the UAE are participating in the event.
Saudi Space Commission Chairman Prince Sultan bin Salman was keen to tour the forum and ensure the event’s smooth running, as well as ensuring it was achieving its goal of entertaining visitors.
Prince Sultan, who is also the founder and chairman of the Saudi Aviation Club, met many families and visitors of different nationalities. He listened to their observations about the forum, and their impressions of services and organization on offer for their comfort. The visitors were happy about the activities and workshops.
The General Authority of Civil Aviation is also participating in the event. It aims to spread aviation culture and science in the Kingdom. The forum allows flying enthusiasts around the world to meet.
