Swatch’s latest product line “Big Bold” has a new timepiece — a bigger, bolder version of its classic 1985 Jellyfish.
The statement piece has a 47 mm watchcase and comes wrapped up in 3D prints on dial and strap and is totally covered in camo patterns.
“Big Bold Jelly features a design as crystal clear as can be, allowing insights in the literal sense. Semi-transparent straps hold the fully transparent case that displays its technological core. Flashy hands infused in blue, red and yellow transform pure simplicity to perfection,” the Swiss watchmaker said.
The timepiece is for “an era where you can speak out your personality, as crystal clear as can be.”
“With a fully transparent 47 mm dial and a semi-transparent silicone strap, you can discreetly keep track of way too long meetings and tedious Friday night dates, without offending a soul,” Swatch said.
The model was launched on Dec. 26.
Describing the “Big Bold” collection, Swatch said on its website: “A new watch collection inspired by bold ideas, designed for even bolder personalities. With a kick from urban streetwear, these models have a simply striking 47 mm watch head, with big arrows pointing your next move to the right direction. A totally new flat glass highlights the 3D print on the dial and flatters the watch’s contemporary design.”
