AL-AHSA: The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture in Al-Ahsa launched the first flower festival in Juatha.

Al-Ahsa’s undersecretary, Moaz bin Ibrahim Al-Jaafari, attended the event with the ministry’s office director in Al-Ahsa, Ibrahim bin Khalil Al-Khalil, and other government and private sector officials.

The attendees were treated to an explanation on the events, programs and activities being implemented at the festival by Nabeel Al-Wusaibai, the general supervisor.

The attendees were introduced to the ministry’s awareness and guidance corner in Al-Ahsa and the services provided through the office’s departments, including getting to know the Ballegh (report) application.

Ballegh was launched by the ministry alongside the digital transformation and in line with the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 reform plans. The application allows farmers to report any suspected infection of the red palm weevil, leading to a fast response within 24 hours.
