A delegation of Pakistani parliamentarians headed by Asad Qaiser, speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan, called on King Salman in Riyadh on Monday.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation between the two countries in parliamentary affairs.
The Pakistani delegation arrived in the Kingdom on Sunday. Saudi Shoura Council Speaker Dr. Abdullah Al-Asheikh received the delegation at the King Khalid International Airport. Officials’ visits between the two sides are a regular feature. Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan visited Saudi Arabia four times in less than a year and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman visited Pakistan earlier this year in February.
