RIYADH: The speaker of People’s Consultative Assembly of Indonesia, Bambang Soesatyo, on Monday called on King Salman.
They reviewed issues of common interest particularly aspects of cooperation between the Saudi Shoura Council and its Indonesian counterpart.
The Indonesia official arrived in Riyadh on Sunday and was received by Saudi Shoura Council Speaker Dr. Abdullah Al-Asheikh. During the meeting, Al-Asheikh stressed the importance of enhancing ties between the Saudi Shoura Council and the People’s Consultative Assembly of Indonesia.
Soesatyo lauded Saudi Arabia’s development and growth. He hailed the outcome of King Salman’s 2017 visit to Indonesia. He said the visit helped boost bilateral ties in various fields.
