Saudi Telecom Company (STC) has topped the MENA region’s digital companies by ranking 44th on Forbes’ list of the Top 100 Digital Companies around the world.
Forbes’ rankings are in line with findings of a recent survey of the top countries in terms of digital infrastructure, namely the IMD World Competitiveness Rankings. STC advanced 16 places on the global list in communications and information technology to rank 38th place in terms of broadband network penetration and digital infrastructure development, based on the Global Competitiveness Index.
Moreover, the telecom giant’s official app, My STC, is generating a lot of traffic and interaction as 95 percent of the company’s services can be accessed through the platform on smart devices, including free deliveries of devices and SIM cards to clients.
