Saudi and Korean ministers discuss urban planning

RIYADH: Saudi Housing Minister Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail received in Riyadh on Thursday South Korea’s Land, Infrastructure and Transport Minister Kim Hyun-Mee and his accompanying delegation.
The meeting was attended Jo Byoung Wook, South Korea’s ambassador to the Kingdom, Prince Saud bin Talal, advisor to Al-Hogail, and other Housing Ministry officials.
The two sides reviewed strategies for urban planning, smart cities and infrastructure development.
They also discussed using the latest technology for construction, exchanging knowledge and cooperation.
Al-Hogail praised the excellent relations between the two countries, and Kim wished Saudi Arabia increased progress and prosperity.
Mohammed bin Mazyad Al-Tuwaijri — economy and planning minister, and chairman of the Saudi-Korean Committee 2030 — also met with Kim.
They discussed opportunities for cooperation in the fields of infrastructure and smart cities within the framework of the Saudi-Korean Vision 2030.
