TAM Development, a Saudi company specializing in crowdsourcing and public engagement, in partnership with the Crowdsourcing Week, a global platform committed to highlighting the importance of crowd economy practices, hosted the Crowdsourcing Week (CSW) in Riyadh on Nov. 26.

This was the first time the popular event was held in the Kingdom.

The theme of the CSW Riyadh 2019 was “Power of the Crowd,” where speakers and panelists dwelled on the question “How Can We Leverage the Power of the Crowd?”

CSW Riyadh 2019 was jam-packed with interactive sessions, workshops, and talks featuring innovators and influential pioneers in crowd-enabled initiatives from all around the globe. This one-day event was designed to support government, enterprise and nonprofit leaders in the region through creative frameworks to come up with future strategies and inspire new business models that would reshape various industries.

Abdullah Alyousef, CEO and co-founder of TAM Development, said: “TAM is dedicated to creating initiatives using the energy of positive thinkers and pioneers in our community, as well as educating the public about crowdsourcing and what one can achieve by leveraging the power of the crowd.

“CSW Riyadh is the first event that brings together both local and global experts to share their experiences, success stories and best practices in crowdsourcing.”

During his speech as a keynote speaker, Alyousef emphasized that no one should ever underestimate the power of the crowd, as he said it is not only a business-enhancing solution, but also a performance-enhancing solution for many areas including education, health care, transportation and other areas in both the public and private sectors.

Mohammad Nadeem, marketing manager at TAM Development, said: “CSW Riyadh 2019 is targeting individuals who are already in the crowdsourcing and sharing-economy industry, those who are interested in the industry, and professionals in the fields of economy in general.”

“Vision 2030 is about building a vibrant society and a thriving economy, and crowdsourcing together with a sharing economy play a major role in achieving these two key pillars,” Alyousef said.
