DUBAI: Saudi Arabia’s support for Expo 2020 Dubai “brings us great pride,” Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed has said in a Twitter message.

Earlier he accompanied Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on a tour of the Expo 2020 headquarters in Dubai on Thursday. The tour included the site of the Saudi pavilion, which covers an area of more than 13,000 square meters.

The two crown princes were briefed about the pavilion and the structure’s creative facade, which represents the Kingdom’s aspirations.

They also visited the site of the UAE pavilion, spread over an area of 15,000 square meters and designed in the shape of a falcon in flight.

Saudi Arabia’s participation in Expo 2020 assumes particular importance in the context of the Kingdom’s ambitious Vision 2030 program, the UAE’s WAM news agency said.
