Hassan Al-Taley is a media professional who has worked for several satellite channels. He began his career as a correspondent for ART Channel and was later a presenter for several of the channel’s shows until 2005.
In 2006, he joined Al-Arabiya as a reporter on the ground and has since presented live coverage and accompanied governmental officials during their official visits to Arab and European countries.
He headed the Al-Arabiya Hajj delegation for three consecutive seasons and covered numerous Kingdom-wide events, for which he received recognition and praise.
Described as the first Saudi war reporter, Al-Taley donned his helmet in March 2015 when Operation Decisive Storm was launched and headed for Yemen to cover the events.
For months, he reported on breaking news stories on the ground from several Yemeni conflict-stricken provinces and covered the Saudi-Yemeni border clashes.
He was always there amid bullets and bombs to keep the viewers updated on the latest news.
During this coverage, he provided numerous news reports that offered viewers a wider perspective on the war.
He has recently been named the manager of the Jeddah-based Al-Arabiya Office.
