Saudi beekeeper forum in Qasim comes to a close

BURAIDAH: The first Beekeepers Forum in Qasim, organized by the region’s chamber of commerce and industry, concluded its week-long activities on Thursday at Qasim’s International Conventions and Exhibitions Center.

The forum’s general supervisor and the chamber of commerce and industry’s secretary-general, Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Hnaya, said that the forum achieved its desired objectives. Its goals were to strengthen the region’s economic activities in general with a particular focus on honey.

Al-Hnaya added: “Among the objectives, we strived to make the forum an opportunity for honey producers to exchange experiences, support them in courses and lectures that contribute to raising the awareness, and add to their careers.”
