Makkah governorate, KSRelief sign deal in crisis and disaster management training

Makkah Gov. Prince Khaled Al-Faisal and Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah, general supervisor of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief), witnessed the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between the Crisis and Disaster Management Center in Makkah Governorate and KSRelief to enhance aspects of cooperation between the two parties in several areas.

The agreement, which is the first of its kind between KSRelief and a regional governorate in the Kingdom, was signed by Dr. Aqeel Al-Ghamdi, the assistant supervisor general director for planning and development at KSRelief, and Col. Saud Al-Tami, director of the center. It provides for the holding of symposia, seminars and research in the field of crisis and disaster management, building capacities and joint training programs, in addition to benefiting from the cadres and expertise in the field of training for crises and disasters.

Under the agreement, the two parties will exchange visits to enhance cooperation as well as exchanging advisory services, reports, statistics, publications and studies.
