RIYADH: The first edition of the Saudi Media Forum, which will take place on Dec. 2, will welcome Prince Abdul Aziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, chairman of the General Sports Authority (GSA), as a keynote speaker.
He will focus on the relation and interaction between sports and media, and the GSA’s efforts to develop the Kingdom’s sports media.
The forum, organized by the Saudi Journalists Association in Riyadh, comes at a time when cooperation between sports institutions and media outlets has become of great importance.
Experts and specialists from Saudi Arabia and 32 other countries will participate. The forum’s 40 sessions and 30 workshops will discuss various subjects, including the organizational, cultural, practical and technical challenges facing the media industry.
The forum will also discuss the role of media content in shaping public opinion, the role of the industry’s digital transformation in promoting competitiveness, and successful international experiences related to investment in the industry.
