ROME: The general supervisor of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief), Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah, met the Chief of the Defense Staff of Italy Gen. Enzo Vecciarelli on Saturday in Rome.
The meeting highlighted the Kingdom’s humanitarian efforts exerted through KSRelief in 45 countries. It reviewed the efforts exerted to assist the Yemeni people in all provinces and discussed the ongoing Houthi militia violations.
Al-Rabeeah also met with the Italian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Emanuela Del Re, ministry officials, Middle East political and security affairs specialists and the Italian envoy to Yemen in the presence of the Kingdom’s ambassador to Italy, Prince Faisal bin Sattam.
During the meeting, they discussed aspects of joint cooperation between the two countries and building a strong relationship in the field of humanitarian and development action.
Al-Rabeeah affirmed the Kingdom’s endeavor for peaceful solutions in Yemen and enhancing security and stability in the Middle East.
On Friday, he met with a number of members of both houses of the Italian Parliament, the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate of the Republic.
