DUBAI: Saudi Arabia’s Deputy Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman on Thursday said he met top US government officials to discuss regional security and military cooperation.
Prince Khalid, in separate Twitter posts, said he met with Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Defense Secretary Mark Esper.
During his meeting with Pompeo, Prince Khalid said they “discussed ways to continue to strengthen the historic ties between our two countries.

Prince Khalid meanwhile said his discussions with US defense chief covered “mutual security challenges in the region,” wherein they “reaffirmed the strong military cooperation in countering terrorism and preserving peace and stability.”
