RIYADH: Saudi Arabia's King Salman received the president of the Sudanese sovereignty council as well as the country's prime minister on their first joint foreign visit on Sunday.
The king held formal talks with Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan and Abdalla Hamdok and wished Sudan continued stability and prosperity, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
Al-Burhan thanked King Salman for the Kingdom's supportive stance with regard to Sudan.
During discussions, King Salman and the Sudanese delegation reviewed relations between the two countries, and ways of enhancing and developing bilateral cooperation in various fields.
Al-Burhan and Hamdouk were visiting Saudi Arabia as part of a Gulf tour that will also include a visit to the UAE.
