PARIS: France is to host the first international exhibition dedicated to the human and natural heritage of AlUla in northern Saudi Arabia.
Titled “AlUla: Kingdom’s Wonder” the expo will be staged at the headquarters of the Arab World Institute (IMA) in Paris from Oct. 9 to Jan. 9.
The IMA’s president and former French minister of culture, Jack Lang, said the display aimed to introduce visitors to the governorate of AlUla and its unique natural and archaeological resources.
He said: “In partnership with the Kingdom, the exhibition will allow visitors to discover the beauty of AlUla area and its natural diversity, as well as to learn about its history and civilizations witnessed over 7,000 years through artistic works, paintings and archaeological sculptures.”
