LONDON: The Saudi ambassador to the UK received the vice president of King Abdul Aziz University (KAU) for educational affairs, Dr. Abdulmonem Al-Hayani, and students taking part in the Future Scientists Program, part of a cooperation agreement between KAU and Oxford University.
The ambassador, Prince Khalid bin Bandar bin Sultan, applauded the students for participating in the program, which aims to develop their skills in the field of health to qualify them for scientific and academic research.
Al-Hayani told the ambassador that 21 KAU students and 31 Oxford teachers took part in the two-week program, which included lectures, specialized workshops and research development projects.
“The students received their certificates in the presence of the program’s president and general supervisor of the Target Discovery Institute, Prof. Peter Ratcliffe,” Al-Hayani said.
