JEDDAH: Saudi Arabia has set a new record in the Guinness Book of Records by unveiling the largest camel model in the world, in the camel village in King Faisal Park in Taif.

The Saudi Press Agency said the height of the model is estimated to be ten meters high and five meters wide.

The statue contains more than 51 thousand lights illuminated within the structure designed in geometric shapes.

This is the second Guinness record announced during the Crown Prince Camel Festival, after the festival’s first edition was set as the largest camel sports festival in the world, featuring the participation of a record 11,186 camels that competed in 787 rounds.
