JEDDAH: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) has been helping Syrians in Lebanon through a range of social welfare initiatives.
The center has implemented several activities as part of its social welfare program in the Lebanese Bekaa governorate town of Bar Elias, sponsoring 24 Syrian families during the past two weeks. The activities included the purchase of food, household and personal goods, the transfer of several patients to hospitals, treatment for chronic diseases such as high blood pressure and diabetes for needy patients, and participation in a seminar organized by the Red Crescent Society.
Earlier this month, KSRelief distributed Eid clothes, toys and other gifts to 552 Lebanese, 1,656 Syrian and 552 Palestinian children in Lebanon.
The center also distributed 1,381 food baskets to poor families in northern Lebanon.
Also, the center expanded its work to help rehabilitate child soldiers in Yemen. The center outlined its expanded role with experts in this regard.
