Saudi city Taif set to open first park cinema for festival season

TAIF, Saudi Arabia: The city of Taif is all set to raise the curtain on its first park cinema.
Taif Municipality has been making final preparations for the inauguration of the 350-seat movie theater in King Abdullah Park.
The cinema attraction will form part of the Taif Season of festival activities that kick off on Thursday.
According to Okaz newspaper, the theater will screen new movies not yet released to cinemas, with the majority of them being foreign films. Ticket prices will be fixed at SR50 ($13.30).
Another movie theater will be opened in a commercial shopping mall in Taif, although ticket prices have yet to be announced.
