The Saudi Electronics and Home Appliances Institute (SEHAI) in Riyadh hosted a ceremony to celebrate its 10th anniversary and a graduating batch of 120 trainees on June 18.

The event was attended by Dr. Ahmed Fahad Al-Fuhaid, governor of TVTC; Dr. Ismail Mufarreh, SEHAI director; Tsukasa Uemura, Japanese ambassador to Saudi Arabia; Shigeru Chiba, chairman of Katayanagi Institute; Daisei Yamano, vice principal of Nippon Engineering College; a number of owners and representatives of private companies; members of the executive committee of the institute; and parents of the trainees.

The 10th batch of graduates were lauded for their academic performance in speeches delivered by guests at the ceremony.

A cultural program was performed by SEHAI staff and students of the Japanese school in Riyadh.

SEHAI is the third technical and vocational training center supported by Japan, followed by SJAHI and HIPF, all of which have been operating for more than 10 years.

More than 800 Saudi youths have graduated from SEHAI since its establishment.
