DUBAI: World-famous waxwork museum Madame Tussauds is making its way to Dubai this year and will open in Bluewaters Island before the end of 2019.
The museum, which already has outposts in in London, Amsterdam, Hong Kong, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Shanghai, Wuhan and New York, will open its doors in the Middle East for the first time in its almost 350-year history.
Years in the planning, the Dubai-based museum will be operated by Merlin, which operates the likes of the London Eye and Legoland.
There’s still no word on which celebrities will be immortalized in wax at the new museum, but considering Dubai’s status as a meeting point between the East and West, we hope to see a few international faces from Hollywood to Bollywood and beyond.
