Due to its attractive landscapes and unique sand formations, the Saudi governorate of Al-Ula has become a prime destination for safari and desert sports fans. 

It has attracted many local and international tourists due to its varied activities such as the Winter at Tantora festival, its unique archeological landmarks such as Madain Saleh and Elephant Mountain, and tourism attractions such as motels and desert camps and parks.
