RIYADH: The Czech ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Juraj Koudelka, met with the governor of the Riyadh region, Prince Faisal bin Bandar, and supervisor general of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief), Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah, to discuss issues of common interest focusing on relief work.
Prince Faisal welcomed the Czech envoy on Tuesday for talks on strengthening bilateral relations, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
The Czech envoy also met the KSRelief supervisor-general recently at the center’s headquarters in Riyadh.
During the key meeting the two men discussed details of relief programs being carried out in various countries by KSRelief. Koudelka was also told about the center’s extensive relief and humanitarian work in 43 countries.
The Czech envoy praised KSRelief’s work and support for crisis-affected countries and people worldwide.
He was also briefed about Saudi Vision 2030 and its focus on building the Kingdom’s humanitarian and volunteer programs.
The Czech Republic and Saudi Arabia have close ties in sectors including construction, defense, agriculture, health and rehabilitation, railway transport, integrated urban transport and education.
