The Council of Ministers on Tuesday announced collaboration between the Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture and the UN Environment Program to draft a strategic cooperation agreement. 

The Cabinet, chaired by King Salman, also authorized the minister to sign the Statute of the Arab Environment Facility, which was approved by the Economic and Social League of Arab States and the Council of the Arab League Council.

The Cabinet also decided to approve a memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Energy and Industry and Mineral Resources in Saudi Arabia and the Ministry of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland for cooperation in clean energy.

According to a report from the Saudi Press Agency, Minister of Information Turki Al-Shabana said that the Cabinet reviewed several reports on developments in the Arab, regional and international fields.
