Shaza Al-Madina is offering Saudi nationals interested in the hospitality industry a range of learning and development programs in various departments of the hotel.
“At Shaza, we believe in contributing toward the betterment of society by providing local talents with a unique platform of learning and development, where they have an opportunity to explore the ever-evolving trends and horizons of the hospitality industry,” said Amjad Irshaidat, country general manager of Shaza, Saudi Arabia.
Recently, three students from Al-Madinah Female College — an Oxford Partnership college — completed 10 days of on-the-job training in the reservations, front office and guest relations department in Shaza Al-Madina. On their final day of training, Irshaidat took feedback and distributed certificates.
On a separate occasion, 25 students of F&B services from Madinah Tourism College were taken on an industrial tour of Shaza Al-Madina Hotel. Welcoming the group, Irshaidat highlighted the importance of employing local talents in the Kingdom’s hotel industry and outlined the available career opportunities.
The student visits complement the Shaza Kifah Program, which provides local talents with interactive opportunities to learn, grow and excel under professional guidance by departmental specialists.
