Saudi Special Olympics body established ahead of Abu Dhabi games, Princess Reema named as chief

RIYADH: A Saudi Special Olympics Federation has been set up after a decree from Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, Saudi Press Agency announced on Saturday.
The General Sports Authority chairman and head of the Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee appointed Princess Reema bint Bandar bin Sultan as the new federation’s chairwoman.
It comes as Saudi Arabian athletes get ready to participate in the Special Olympics World Games, which is being held in the UAE capital of Abu Dhabi later this month.
