DUBAI: The activities of the Global Educational Supplies and Solutions (Guess) conference and exhibition, hosted by the Emirati Education Ministry, continued for the second day at the Dubai World Trade Center.

The Saudi Education Ministry pavilion participating in the event witnessed the signing of a number of agreements aimed at improving the level of education in the Kingdom.

Among those was a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Tatweer Company for Educational Services and the Emirati Alef Company for Education Technology to enrich digital content and provide digital solutions for the public and private education sectors.

Another MoU was signed between Tatweer Education Holding Company and the international GEMS Education Company to exchange expertise and meet the ministry’s needs in developing the Kingdom’s level of education.

The pavilion organized workshops and round-table discussions, one of which was a workshop on the educational system’s investment opportunities. It highlighted the initiatives launched by the government to promote the role of the private sector in the Kingdom’s education and encourage private investments.

The undersecretary of the minister of education and head of the Kingdom’s pavilion, Dr. Saad Al-Fuhaid, said that “the Kingdom is participating with the event’s largest pavilion to present the implemented projects and programs, host speakers to discuss the projects, attract investments for the educational sector and elaborate new ideas.”

The Ministry’s Vision 2030 Achievement Office took part in the event along with a number of the ministry’s departments by presenting working papers about the 2030 Educational Vision that seeks to provide a promising education for future generations.
