JEDDAH: Saudi Border Guards have thwarted an attempt to smuggle drugs into the Kingdom using a jet-ski.
Officers found more than 31,000 Captagon pills on the jet-ski when they intercepted it off the coast of Tabuk.
The jet-ski laden with the amphetamines was being driven by an Egyptian national, who was arrested, SPA reported. It was unclear when the haul was seized.
Meanwhile, Border Guards thwarted an attempt to smuggle more than 300kg of cannabis into the Kingdom.
Two Yemeni nationals were caught trying to bring the drugs in to Najran province on Friday.
