Cadillac Middle East, with AlGhanim — its national partner of Kuwait — is showcasing the new XT4, alongside their latest model lineup, including the Escalade, XT5 and CTS-V at the 2019 Kuwait Motor Show, which runs until Jan. 26.
First unveiled at Cadillac House in Manhattan in March 2018, the American automotive brand’s first-ever compact SUV XT4 was displayed to motoring enthusiasts who attended the event.
“The XT4 is driven by a new Cadillac 2.0-liter turbo engine, producing an SAE-certified output of 237 hp (177 kW). Coupled with a nine-speed automatic transmission with next-generation electronic precision shift, the new engine features new efficiency-enhancing technologies including active fuel management (cylinder deactivation),” the automaker said.
Christian Soemmer, Cadillac Middle East managing director, said: “On display at this year’s Kuwait Motor show is Cadillac’s first-ever compact SUV, the XT4, which marks the brand’s entry into the fastest growing luxury segment. Designed to appeal to the region’s millennial audience, the all-new model features new class-leading technologies, premium levels of refinement as well as the all-new 2.0-liter turbo engine.
“As one of the biggest markets in the region for Cadillac, I’m confident the all-new XT4 will be a hit among tech-savvy consumers and look forward to seeing our customers’ reactions at the Kuwait Motor Show.”
