flyadeal celebrates launch of new Dammam flights

To commemorate the launch, a ceremony was held at the departure lounge of King Fahd International Airport in Dammam.

flyadeal, Saudi Arabia’s low-fare airline and the Kingdom’s third largest operator, has launched flights to four new destinations from Dammam — Riyadh, Madinah, Jazan and Abha. These flights are in addition to the current three daily flights from Dammam to Jeddah and the three daily flights from Jeddah to Dammam.

To commemorate the launch, a ceremony was held at the departure lounge of King Fahd International Airport in Dammam. Attendees included Con Korfiatis, CEO of flyadeal, airport officials and employees, and representatives from the media. They were present for the first of the new flights — F3 1175 from Dammam to Riyadh.

Korfiatis highlighted the economic and historical importance of Dammam as one of the Kingdom’s major cities whose development projects in various fields have turned it into an industrial behemoth and a global investment destination.

He said: “Since our inception, we have worked to deliver on our promise of everyday low fares coupled with a great onboard experience delivered with smiles. As we enter 2019, we celebrate new flights from our virtual base in Dammam to four major destinations in the Kingdom: Riyadh, Madinah, Abha and Jazan. We will also start operating a second daily flight from Jeddah to Tabuk from Jan. 7.”
