JEDDAH: Abdulsalam Al-Mana is the deputy minister for internal trade at the Ministry of Commerce and Investment.

The Council of Saudi Chambers, in cooperation with Hafr Al-Batin Chamber, on Friday organized the fifth ministerial conference entitled “Supporting livestock development in Hafr Al-Batin,” one of the initiatives of the Kingdom’s plan to stimulate the private sector.

Addressing the conference, Al-Mana said the ministry aims to maintain the quality of products offered in the Saudi market and internationally through exports.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in information systems from King Saud University College of Computer and Information Sciences, and a master’s 

degree in business administration from the UK’s University of Leicester.

Al-Mana used to be general manager of information technology at Seef Engineers and Contractors. 

He served as director of the strategy department at the ministry’s Internal Trade Agency before he became deputy minister.

He has been a member of the board of directors at the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (Modon) since September 2018. Al-Mana is also co-founder of the Circular Rectangle Information Technology Co. 

He has always been supportive of youths’ contributions to advancing the Saudi economy and fulfilling the Vision 2030 reform plan. 

He regularly attends public events, where he reflects on the country’s promising prospects.
