TAIF: The commander of the Royal Saudi Air Forces, Maj. Gen. Turki bin Bandar bin Abdul Aziz, stressed the depth of Saudi-British bilateral relations during a visit to King Fahd Air Base in Taif as part of a joint Saudi-UK Green Flag exercise.
Joint exercises helped participants, including air and technical staff, exchange expertise and develop skills, he said.
Maj. Gen. Turki listened to a briefing by Maj. Gen. Haidar bin Rafie Al-Omari, commander of the air base, on the objectives and the scenarios being implemented as part of the Green Flag exercise.
Col. Khalid bin Yusuf Al-Yusuf, who is overseeing Green Flag, gave a briefing on training and preparations for the exercise.
Maj. Gen. Turki took photos with airmen from both countries, and visited the joint warfare school.
He also attended Saudi cultural day events at the air base museum and inaugurated development projects in the base’s residential area.
