Saudi Arabian Civil Aviation Authority praised for Qassim airport transformation

RIYADH: The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) was praised for its valuable work that helped transform Qassim airport from handling a limited number of passengers to more than a million passengers.
This came during a meeting between Qassim Gov. Prince Faisal bin Mishaal and GACA President Abdulhakim Al-Tamimi in Buraidah.
In 2010, the number of flights did not exceed 2,000 and the number of passengers did not exceed 200,000.
In the latest statistics provided by the GACA, up to the end of October, the number of passengers for both domestic and international flights has reached approximately 1.4 million.
